We started the day by going to a splash park, and the weather was perfect. Playing in water is something Ryker LOVES! Ellany shares his intense love for water, and Brynn had fun splashing around too. Because of Ryker's sensory issues, he reached his saturation point rather quickly. So we had a really fun half hour, then Ryker decided it was time to go.
He loved sitting right in front of the spray holes!

Grandma Carol and Grandpa Bob came over later for dinner and cake/presents. Another one of Ryker's favorite things is Kipper, the dog. He is the star of a cartoon series and has a british accent. Of course, I made a Kipper cake! Adam used his graphics skills to make me a template - he arranged all of Kipper's parts on a 9X13 rectangle. I printed it out, placed it on my cake and cut out the pieces. That helped a LOT!

Brynn made this cute wrapping paper for her gift! She spent a LOT of time drawing Kipper and his friends on it.
Ryker didn't really understand the concept of opening presents, or seem to be that interested in it. BUT, he really liked this card - it played the Winnie the Pooh song. When he opened it, he immediately ran into the hallway and sat down to play it over and over!
Another thing he liked...spinning the O and Q from his new alphabet puzzle!

Brynn gets 10 COOL POINTS for the amazing wrapping paper. It was very good! Robin get's 20 COOL POINTS because she not only made a vary amazing Kipper cake to look at but it tasted fantastic as well, much yummier than Brynn's Kipper paper.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable cake and like everyone else--kuddos to Brynn on the wrapping paper. How fun that he is 3! We miss seeing you guys at church. We need to get together. We might do a girls night next weekend or in two weeks. I will let you know. Also I wanted to ask you where you got your incredible costumes. Robby is in love with dash. I will call you:)
