A Little Advice...

Do NOT store your library DVDs on top of the entertainment center, perilously close to a broken lamp that tends to lean.

You may smell something like burning plastic, but be too short to locate the source a couple feet above your head.

You may later be told by a librarian that you must pay an exorbitant $34.99 (plus tax) to replace a movie you never got to watch, and that you may NOT buy the exact same DVD for $15.19 on Amazon.com and give it to them. You will most likely attempt to point out the idiocy of this policy, then rage internally when you are told library rules trump all.

You will probably suppress the urge to throw a screaming fit in front of innocent library patrons, and swear to never use your library card again. Or, you may just let loose.

Moral of the story? Libraries are evil! Beware of leaning lamps. And don't say I didn't warn you.
