REPTICON! That word makes me imagine a superhero that morphs into reptiles, but it is really a big reptile convention. Adam and Brynn went to Repticon in Tampa last Saturday. It features reptile/amphibian exhibits and breeders with lots of pets for sale. Brynn was in heaven!!! This video shows some of the snakes...listen for when Brynn says, "They're all so cute!".I am posting this next video so you can see the cool Tegu...the big lizard Brynn says she wants to bring home.
It should not surprise you that Brynn did come home with a new pet. Before she went, we talked about getting something with legs this time (leopard gecko, bearded dragon, uromastyx...). But she still loves snakes best, and chose a High White California King snake. The snake is just a baby, and she will grow up to 4 feet long.
Arriving home with her new pet, Brynn declared it the second best day of her life! You can guess the first...the day she got Tangerine, her corn snake. This girl loves her reptiles!! :0)
After much deliberation Brynn finally decided on the name Terrazzo (Razzie for short). Adam pointed out how the new snake's coloring looks a lot like our 60's terrazzo floors, and the name stuck. Here is Terrazzo on our terrazzo...she will be hard to find if she ever escapes!
