Brynn the Writer

You know the expression, "think outside the box"? Well, Brynn LIVES outside the box! She is constantly creating and looking at things in a way my logical mind would never conceive. It blows me away, the things her brain comes up with.

Since Ryker was born, she has been writing stories about him. Almost all of them involve Ryker escaping, having superhero powers ("Supa Ryker") and/or being in some form of peril. Her stories are always complete with illustrations, usually in the middle of the text. They are very long, because she keeps adding chapters. She wrote this at school this week, when the teacher gave them a set amount of time to write a story. The teacher read Brynn's story to the class. I loved it and had to share it with you!

Ryker and the Wolves
Prologue
Once there was a baby named Ryker. His daddy used to sometimes take him in the wheelbarrow down the hill into the woods and come back. One day Ryker saw the wheelbarrow through an open door. He ran out the door, got in, and gave it a push. Suddenly the wheelbarrow hit a huge rock and flipped over. But before it flipped over completely, Ryker went flying into the woods! As he skidded across the ground he went off a cliff, and went into a volcano. He bounced off the magma and (it's apparent or else the story wouldn't be very long) sailed into a cave. Immediately he realized an urgent problem. He didn't have the wheelbarrow. Without the wheelbarrow he couldn't get a wheelbarrow ride. Without a wheelbarrow ride Ryker wasn't happy. And according to Ryker's IQ, that was a major problem. According to our IQ, there was a major problem outside! A pack of wolves had heard Ryker's bawling and caterwauling. According to Ryker, that was not a major problem.
Here is another one that is still in progress:
A New Life
Prologue
In a new life, Ryker Heath Evans, a 21 month old infant and his family go on an Alaskan vacation. The average, well mostly average family, had Ellany, his seven year old autistic sister. Well she is the reason for all these stories. Read on to find out why.
Chap.1 The Escape & Fall
Now you've read the prologue. So on with the story. Ryker's family went on an airplane. They were almost to Alaska and Ellany opened a cereal box with an electric toy in it. But the toy didn't work. Ellany got so mad at it she threw it. It landed finally and broke a window. While Ryker's Mom and Dad tried to calm Ellany down, Ryker decided to go exploring. He peeked out the window and inched his way out. But suddenly he fell out of the window! "I knew I should've stopped at inch 12." he thought. He twirled and fwirled and swirled and cwirled and flipped and mirled and flippity-wippitychurned. (is fwirled a word?) Well, he did! He came sliding down a tree, only finding himself face to face with a dog! Now he scampered up a tree. He saw his airplane. He jumped and grabbed the Delta banner. He sailed through the air. He took his hand off the banner to climb, but he fell off. He fell into a large body of water. He would do anything to get to his family.
